These terms govern your use of JobTrue ("the Service"), operated by JobTrue ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
You own everything you put into JobTrue — your resume, job listings, notes, and any other content you create. We don't claim any rights to it.
By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content for the sole purpose of providing the features you use (fit analysis, tailoring, etc.). We do not sell, share, or use your content for any other purpose.
JobTrue uses AI to generate fit scores, tailored resumes, cover letters, and interview prep. These outputs are provided as tools to assist your judgment — not as guarantees of accuracy, employability, or outcome.
You agree not to:
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Founding member pricing is locked for the life of your subscription. If you cancel and resubscribe, the founding member rate no longer applies.
Refunds are handled case-by-case. Contact contact@jobtrue.ai within 7 days of a charge if you believe there is an error.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. AI features depend on third-party API availability (Anthropic) and may be temporarily unavailable during outages. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime.
If we shut down JobTrue, we will provide at least 30 days notice via email and give you a way to export your resume content and application data before deletion. We will not simply disappear with your data.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees that using JobTrue will result in job interviews, offers, or employment. Your results depend on your qualifications and the decisions of employers — factors outside our control.
To the extent permitted by law, JobTrue's liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email and update the effective date above. Continued use after the updated date constitutes acceptance.
